Managed Support & Helpdesk (1st & 2nd Line) - Docking Station (per device, per month) - Initial Term
Prerequisites
· Supported manufacturer docking station.
· Compatible USB-C or Thunderbolt docking station hardware.
· Supported monitors and peripherals connected to the dock.
· Appropriate power supply and cabling for the docking station.
· Available network connection if the dock includes Ethernet.
· Hardware must be in vendor support and less than 5 years old.
· Hardware should be covered by a valid manufacturer warranty.
· Administrative access required for setup and ongoing management.
Setup
· Installation and physical connection of docking station.
· Driver and firmware installation and updates.
· Configuration of docking station ports and interfaces.
· Network port configuration where applicable.
· Power delivery configuration and validation.
· Integration into asset management and monitoring systems.
· Testing of all docking station ports and functions.
· Documentation of docking station configuration.
Maintenance
· Firmware and driver update checks.
· Connectivity and port health checks.
· Power delivery and stability checks.
· Compatibility validation following OS updates.
· Asset tracking and lifecycle updates.
Support
· Support provided for devices that are in vendor support and under 5 years old.
· Troubleshooting docking station hardware faults.
· Resolution of port and connectivity issues.
· Investigation of power delivery faults.
· Firmware reinstallation and recovery.
· Replacement docking station setup for like-for-like device.
· Vendor escalation and warranty coordination.
· User guidance on docking station usage and best practice.
