Prerequisites
· Supported manufacturer unmanaged switch.
· Switch must be in vendor support and less than 5 years old.
· Hardware should be covered by a valid manufacturer warranty.
· Appropriate power and cabling available.
Setup
· Physical installation and cabling validation.
· Basic connectivity testing.
· Placement and asset documentation.
· Confirmation of connected device functionality.
Maintenance
· Basic connectivity and power checks.
· Asset lifecycle tracking.
· Visual inspection or health check where practical.
Support
· Troubleshooting basic connectivity and power issues.
· Cable and port fault isolation.
· Like-for-like replacement setup.
· Vendor escalation/warranty coordination where applicable.
