Prerequisites
· Supported manufacturer UPS.
· UPS must be in vendor support and less than 5 years old unless battery replacement is separately agreed.
· Hardware should be covered by a valid manufacturer warranty.
· Appropriate load capacity and power connections available.
· Network or USB management interface where monitoring is required.
Setup
· Physical connection and load validation.
· UPS management software or network card configuration where applicable.
· Battery and runtime status validation.
· Alerting and monitoring setup where supported.
· Connected equipment documentation.
· Safe shutdown configuration where included.
Maintenance
· Battery health and runtime checks.
· Load and alert monitoring.
· Firmware or management software checks where applicable.
· Asset lifecycle and battery replacement tracking.
· Periodic review of connected load.
Support
· Troubleshooting UPS alerts and power events.
· Battery replacement coordination where applicable.
· Management card or monitoring issue support.
· Vendor escalation and warranty coordination.
· Guidance on power protection and runtime capacity.
